GRP domes

Self-extinguishing GRP domes for ATEX Zone 1 environments

The inspection domes are also intended for environments classified as Zone 1 under ATEX Directive 99/92/EC.

When correctly used, these structures are suited to potentially explosive environments because they do not generate sparks or ignition risks.

Structure, insulation and opening

Main technical features:

Stainless-steel supporting structure anchored to the concrete chamber
Aluminium frame
External GRP cover resistant to weather and temperature changes

The inner and outer domes enclose a cavity filled with insulating polyurethane, which:

increases the thickness of the structure
prevents condensation
improves thermal and moisture insulation

Depending on the client’s requirements, the domes can be fitted with double-acting hydraulic cylinders, pre-set gas springs and customised opening systems.

3,000 × 3,000 mm

Bespoke units on request: sides of up to 6,500 mm

GRP SOS call-point enclosures

The SOS call-point enclosures are made of GRP for roadside safety and signalling applications.

Body dimensions and configuration are defined according to the client’s requirements. The photographs show the enclosure and the complete unit with post and sign.
